For Non-Broadcast Film/Video Productions & Non-Network TV Programs: You can enter the full program, or a 5 - to - 15 minute clip that is representative of the entire piece.

Eligibility

The competition is open to work produced since January 1, 2013.

Awards

The Impie of Excellence (a most excellent Impie). Awarded to those entries that communicate or otherwise speak with spectacular clarity, to set new standards rather than merely observe existing ones.

The Impie of Distinction Awarded to those entries that easily exceed relevant communications standards.

The Honorable (Mention) Impie Conferred upon all entries in which the spark of inspiration is clearly seen.

Impie Awards have been crafted to reflect the quality of work created by its winners. That said, it is the philosophy of The Impies to make participation accessible to the greatest number of people by keeping entry fees low. Therefore, if Excellence and Distinction award winners wish to formally commemorate their achievements with an etched award suitable for presentation, they will be charged $160. (Duplicate certificates and awards are available at an additional charge.) All winners will receive a foil-stamped certificate at no additional cost.

We recognize that entrants expect award notification in a timely fashion. All entrants will be notified by mail with forty (40) days of the entry deadline. The Impie of Excellence Hall of Winners will be listed at the Impies Awards website and in next year's Call for Entries.

Explanation of Judging

Judges of the 2013 Impie Awards give each entry a grade. Those projects awarded an aggregate ninety-five points and above receive Excellence Awards; those garnering eighty-six to ninety-four points Distinction Award; and those with eighty to eighty-five points will win Honorable Mention. Judges of the 2013 Impie Award are drawn from top professionals in communications, the media, the arts, business, and entertainment.
