KidsEye Filmmaking Camp
Now in its 28th year, the KidsEye™ Summer Filmmaking Camp is an intensive and fun five-day summer camp that exposes young people to the world of filmmaking that culminates in a Red Carpet Premiere screening of their finished work at the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Participants learn the basics of filmmaking through workshops on screenwriting, camera, media literacy, storyboarding, acting, directing, and production. Activities are hands-on and culminate in the production of short films directed by and starring KidsEye participants. For children and teens ages 8 through 17.
The cost for the KidsEye Summer Camp Program for 2026 is $395 and includes: The KidsEye Educational Guide, Official KidsEye T-shirt, Vimeo access to the Camp films, and free admission to the KidsEye International Film Festival, as well as the World Premiere of the films made during the camp with a Red Carpet Premiere in August.
