PROVIDENCE, RI (October 8, 2006) - We would like to thank all of our film makers this year; we had over 150 films to judge of those 40 were official selections. These films and filmmakers were honored on October 7th at our 7th annual awards breakfast at the URI Feinstein Campus Cinema in Providence, RI. We had 20 filmmakers out of 40 films screened; 4 different websites and 3 different on-line radio stations attend.

Best Picture - "The Slaughter" - Jay Lee, director

Best Short - "Grace" - Paul Solet, director

Best New Director - Scott Goldberg - "THE DAY THEY CAME BACK"&
“ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS”

Best New England - "Die You Zombie Bastards" - Caleb Emerson, director

Best Genre Cross Over- "Seepage" - Richard Griffin, director

Best Makeup FX - "Bone Sickness" - Brian Paulin, director

Audience Award - "Camp Blood" - Created by Tanner Barklow, Jefferson Craig and Thomas Hughes
