Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival™ is
the largest festival in New England,
showcasing 350 cinematic works submitted from over 54 countries, and 34 states in the United States. During the 2020 Festival, there were 83 World and US/North American PremieresFollowing months of adjudication and review, Festival films were selected from over 6,900 submissions.
FLICKERS is considered "one of the
most exciting new festivals to come along" says
Chris Gore in the "Ultimate Film Festival Survival
Guide." It is also a qualifying festival
for the Short Film Academy Award through its affiliation
with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
