Lawrence Joseph Andrade

Lawrence J. Andrade, Flickers board member, is a Senior Bioanalytical Chemist at Dominion Diagnostics in Quonset, RI. He works in research and development. His expertise is in development and validation of quantitative bioanalytical methods. He holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from Northeastern University and is also a registered Clinical Chemistry Medical Technologist.

Lawrence has a keen interest in the arts, independent film and historical architecture; all of which drew him to RIIFF. Lawrence created the Friends and Family Night program to help boost membership and reach out into the local community. Besides being an active staff member, Lawrence is on the Flickers Arts Collaborative Board and also manages our box office and trains and coaches our volunteers and interns.

In addition he serves as an events consultant and is compiling an ever gowing listing of restaurant recommendations for attending filmmakers and guests and is also an active participant in RIIFF fundraising and marketing efforts.

Larry is married to RIIFF Executive Director, George T. Marshall.
