Welcome to the 14th Annual
PROVIDENCE GLBT FILM FESTIVAL
For the past seven years as part of its community outreach efforts and recognition of Gay Pride Month, FLICKERS: Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) has presented a preview in June of programming it will offer during the main Festival in August. This year’s program will be a celebration of the best films made by, for and about the GLBT community. There will also be a sneak peak of director, Rob Williams’ latest feature ROLE/PLAY.
This year’s programming is made possible through a unique partnership among FLICKERS: Rhode Island International Film Festival, Equity Action, Marriage Equality RI, and the Bell Street Chapel.
The screening will take place on Saturday, June 12th at 7:30 p.m. The location is the Bell Street Chapel Theatre. 5 Bell Street, Providence. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
This year the GLBT festival during RIIFF in August is screening over 40 films from across the globe on an array of topics that touch everything from relationships, gay marriage to military policy. FLICKERS will donate $1.00 for every ticket sold this summer at all of its GLBT programming to Marriage Equality RI (MERI).
