Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival™ (RIIFF) is calling for gay and
lesbian-themed screenplay entries for its 21st Annu
Festival and its year-round Providence LGBTQ Film Festival. Screenplays entered into the competition will be adjudicated by a distinguished panel of industry professionals, educators, peers and film fans.
How to enter Flickers' LGBTQ Screenplay Competition:
• Submissions may be either a feature length
or a short film script; and will be judged by a distinguished

• The Flickers LGBTQ Screenplay Prize winner's work will be used as a focal point during ScriptBiz™,
the annual screenplay pitch forum, with industry professionals.
• The winner will also receive prizes that include Final Draft software, RIIFF Festival Passes, and numerous opportunities for screenplay
promotion within the industry
The deadline for 2017 screenplay submissions is July
15, 2017. Very Important: Winners will be announced by mid-October
2017 (over Columbus Day Weekend). Note as this is important: This follows the main Festival since it allows us time to read the entries carefully and discuss the reviews with our adjudicators. As this competition is designed, the grand prize screenplay then becomes a focal point for the next Festival the following August in 2018.

Flickers'Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) is dedicated to the creation of opportunities
