KIDSEYE™ Scholarship Opportunities

The Original KIDSEYE™ Summer Filmmaking Camp
Our Special Five-Day Summer Camp on Filmmaking is Eligibile for Scholarship Funding

We've been fortunate over the past 14 years to refer kids and their families to several sources for financial underwriting of the KidsEye™ Summer Filmmaking Camp experience.

Since RIIFF and KidsEye™ are programs of the non-profit Flickers, The Newport Film/Video Society & Arts Collaborative, they are eligible for special funding through numerous grant sources. Additionally, KidsEye™ has established a special Scholarship Program for kids who may need additional help in paying tuition.

An application form for that program can be downloaded here:

• Scholarship Application Form

The KidsEye™ Scholarship deadline is May 1, 2012 . Please note that awards can include full or partial tuition coverage to the KidsEye™ Camp.

Additionally, here are the scholarship opportunities in the Rhode Island area which underwrite summer camp and educational programs:

• Rhode Island Children's Crusade

• Department of Children, Youth and Families

• RI Department of Human Services

• Providence Journal Summertime Fund
